Naahh !! Don't ask me anymore who is Spongebob or who is Patrick. . Lol. But let me compare me and my friend, Eds, with these 2 fictional bestfriend !! :) 


Me and Eds met on line !! I know it's a bit untypical, but well, I am glad I did met her !! Not everyone can get a chance to meet such terrific soul, and so, I count myself lucky to have her ! :) 


We share lots of things in common, yet still differs from each other !! There are times that we don't agree much in our ideas, but we respect our individuality enough to let stupid and petty misunderstanding gets into our way. Oh no !! We don't need to kiss each others ass just to show that we like each other. We even tell straight to each other faces what's up, yet we didn't feel that were being mean to each other. Maybe it all comes down to maturity. And we don't need to see each other all the time. We don't need to ask what's wrong. 


So, with this kind of bond comes people who cannot understand us. Maybe intelligence, wit, passion, beauty, and kindness can really attract lots of haters. Lol. But guess what ?? We don't care !!! Hahahaha. 


Anyways, me and Eds could really be Spongebob and Patrick. We could laugh all day with non-sense things, and annoy all haters with our happiness. Lol.

My first DECEMBER with Ethan pogi----

Christmas season is definitely now in the air. :) I could hear now Christmas Carole, the Christmas decore, and not to mention the traffic. :)) 


But for me, this will be one of my best Christmas. This will be my first December and will be my first Christmas as a mother !! Yay !!! 


I guess it's too much to ask now for any Christmas presents at this point of my life. I am truly blessed to have all the things that I have right now !! One of my greatest Christmas wish is already granted. It'll happen sometimes next year. :) I have the greatest husband any girl could ask, wish, and pray for. I have Ethan. Yay !!! 


This afternoon, me and Ethan went to Mall of Asia to buy him socks, and there we see a very happy and cheerful place.

Me and my growing boy---

Wow !!! It's been awhile since I put an entry here. . . Obviously, my little Ethan is making me soooo occupied. Lol. Mom chores are never easy, but hey, it's very rewarding !!! :) 


Ethan is growing soo fast !!! It shows on his clothing sizes. He is just 3 months, but his size is for a 9 to 1 yr. old baby already. Lol. Yep ! He's pretty long for his age. 

He's starting to notice things now, and he's sooooooooooooo very entertaining. He is starting to response now whenever someone is talking to him. (Watch the video above.) 


As expected, he's a charmer !! Well, ehem, where do you think he will get that ?? =P Go figure !!! Lol. He's very behave. He isn' prone of crying. He will just cry when he's hungry or when there's something wrong. You can just put his crib and go on with your daily chores. 

Being a mom is really life changing !! Like in my part, I'm not really that "health buff" so to speak. . But ever since Ethan, I found this urge to be healthy all the time cause there's one life that is relaying on me. When I got sick just few days ago, it was a pain for me that I couldn't kiss him or hug him cause he might get the virus that I had. It was really not a good feeling, so, luckily, I'm okay now !! 

But seeing my little boy sick is a lot harder. You will start to pray on all the saints that you know. Will recite all the prayers that you know. And will promise all the promise that you could. When he got sick due to his shots, I was really soo worried. I spent many sleepless nights just to look over him. Each cry is like a blade cutting my heart. :'( But I'm glad he was able to pass that. Yay !! Ra, ra, ra, sis-bumba !! Lol. 

And now, he's 3 months old already !! Whew !! It seems like yesterday that me and the hubby were expecting for his arrival, and now, here he is, giving me soooo much joy and sooo much contentment. :) As for myself, I healed up sooo fast !! Still trying to get back to shape, but I don't mind now the stretch mark, the scars and everything, for each time I will look at my Ethan, everything is worth it !!! :) 

Ethan uses Pampers New Baby

Did you know that our baby should have 16 to 20 hours of sleep ?? Yeah !! They need that long sleep. . There are lots of reason for baby's distracted sleep, one of them is wet diaper !! 


As a new mom, it was an experiment for me on which diaper should I used to ensure my baby's peaceful sleep. . I tried couple of diapers, but since Ethan is feeding both from my breast and by formula, he pee more. . So, it was a trial and error for me on which diaper to used. . Until I came across this product. . Pampers New Baby !! I noticed that Ethan is soo comfy on this product. . 


True to its' promise, Pampers New Baby give up to 12 hours dryness. . I so love the product cause it's helping a new mom like me to ensure my baby's peaceful 16 to 20 hours sleep !! =) 

Enfalac A+

I have to say first that I support breast feeding !! It is indeed the best milk for babies !! But since, I know that after a few months, I'll be so busy working on me and Ethan's papers for Canada, I had to feed him both in my breast and by formula !! 


I had planned that long time ago, even before I gave birth !! I knew I have to leave him some times to work on our papers. . But I didn't planned on what milk/formula I should gave him !! 


When I finally delivered him tru CS, the pedia needed to feed him formula since I was still unconscious. . Ethan's pedia prescribed Enfalac A+. . 


I had to admit that it's a bit expensive, especially if you're just a minimum earner. . Since I don't want to spoil him, I decided to shift him to a cheaper formula, which was the same milk that most mothers here were using-- BONA. . But, Ethan didn't like it at all !! He became grumpy, and seems stressed !! So, I had to brought him back to Enfalaca A+. . 


But even if it's expensive, I think it's "sulit". . Your baby will get what you're paying for !! It's a good substitute for my breast milk ! 


I recommend this milk to all 0-6 months years old, (of course, with your pedia prescription. .)

Congratulation, Shamcey Supsup !!

I have to admit, she didn't really shine in my book. . I wasn't a fan !! =D Although, I am so amaze on her academical records. . ;) But today, she proved one thing to me, and that, she gave me one good lesson--- CHAMPIONS WERE NOT ONLY BORN-- SOME WERE MADE !! ;) 


I think the entire UNIVERSE would agree that if justice will serve--- SHAMCEY SHOULD BE THE 2011 MS. UNIVERSE !! ;) 


Okay ! I saw the flaw in her answer. . I was screaming to death, and almost blown away when she first dropped her first 2 sentences on her answers, until she added the part where she said, "if the person really loves me, he SHOULD also love MY GOD". . . I think, that's were the flaw came !! If I were to answer that question, I would probably say the same thing, but would had just left the latter part. . But of course, I understand Shamcey's shoe. . It isn't a joke to face 1 billion people. . I salute her for that !! =) 


I don't know if it's just me, but I sure noticed that most candidates for this year got their skin TAN. . =P Isn't that funny ?? =P Hey, brown beauty ladies, don't u think we should start to be proud of our TAN skin ?? =P Pardon me for being biased, but in my humble opinion, our color is the sexiest in the world !! ;) 


I also had to comment on Ms. Universe rule--- where in English requires to be the official language--- yet the final top 5, aside from Shamcey, didn't used the English language !! Boohoo !! =/ But well, it only showed that there can be lots of beautiful ladies in the world--- but PHILIPPINES indeed is a land of not all only beautiful but BRAINY LADIES !! ;) 


Miss Angola is no doubt beautiful !! But-- hehe, if you noticed it too, she just "copied" Shamcey's answer !! "I have my principles. . " =P Woohoo !! 


Nevertheless, Shamcey did soooooo great !! =) Congratulation, Missy ! =) Kudos to you !! Much respect !!

I'll have to admit, when I was younger, I didn't understand why lots of people loves Nora Aunor !! Well, maybe because when I was younger, I had this stereotype idea of beauty !! I wasn't sure why Vilma Santos just fall second to her. . As I grew older, and that is, wiser, I started seeing what's with this woman; why everybody loves her !! =) 


She really had this aura that when she talks to you, or look at you, she will let you feel how interested she is at what you're saying, and she sincerely cares for you !! Of course, her talent is one of a kind !! A talent that only comes once in a blue moon in our local showbiz. . She will take you inside and will give you a depth perspective in every character that she's portraying; making you relates yourself in that character !! =) 


She's also I think is one of the PRIME example that there's a justice in showbiz after all !! =D I don't mean to sound sarcastic, but in today's generation, where everyone with looks can be an actress, it takes one Nora Aunor to prove that without talent--- you'll just be forever a--- STARLET !! hehe. . 


She just came back from hiatus after 8 long years !! The reason of her separation from his dearest country wasn't that pretty. During that time of her condemned, people of the Philippines already closed the trial with their judgment and mocking laugh. . Thus, this reminds me that this country is really a country with huge amnesia. . No matter how many awards, or good things you've brought here, when you messed once, they would forget every good thing you did, and would for remember that one thing where you messed up. . This was what happened to our dearest--- Superstar !! 


But forget about everything, now she's back, and I share the excitement of those people !! =) She's soo missed !! Anyways, welcome back, Ms. Nora Aunor !! =)

During the height of typhoon Juaning, one act of bravery and patriotism somewhere in the province of Albay was made by a 12 years old girl, Janella Lelis !! I wanna give my admiration to this kid !! I'm not sure if it's just because of my hormones, but every time I would hear and see this story, I couldn't help but to have tear in the two corner of my eyes !! =) 


Salute to you, ija !! Thank you for reminding everybody the importance of that 3 stars and a sun, and how it symbolize our dearest country !!

I just want to say Happy, Happy, Happy birthday to the cutest sister any big sister like me could ever have---- AYA !! =) She's been a true darling for me !! The one who always makes me laugh esp. during tough times !! =) I like the way she pout on me whenever I would tease her, or tried to annoyed her !! =)) 


She's one of those FEW people that I trust !! =) On her 23rd bday, I wish her all the best this life could offer !! =) Even if I rarely say it, I'm sure she knows how much I love her !! =)

Etoh na, etoh na, etoh naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa !!! =) Yay !! Me and my hubby's long wait is almost over. . Few weeks from now, our little boy will soon be born !! No amount of words can describe how I feel. . =) It's been 9 wonderful months !! =) This afternoon, I went to my oby again. . Gees !! I gained another 5 kgs. . So, my oby advised me to limit my diet, or else I might deliver Ethan earlier than his due date !! :/ My tummy's size (height) is now 34 inches !! I should be having my last ultra sound, but because of the typhoon, ultra sound clinic here in my place would resume its' office on Monday !! (gggrrr. . I fell inline super long and for 30 minutes only to find out that there was a time limit today in their services. . Oh well !!) 


Anyways, my oby suspected that I might deliver Ethan earlier than September 5 !! Yay !! <3 


Well, me and Tatay are soo ready for you, muffins !! Tatay's been working hard to provide you all the essential things that you'll need, as we welcome you here on earth !! =) Nanay's soo excited for you as well !! =) There were never a moment I didn't feel the excitement !! Thank you, baby, for making me feel complete !! For letting me feel this feeling that I'd never felt before !! =)

I'm an ANMUM drinker !!

My pregnancy really did brought out the "worrier" side of me. . I was thinking, how can I ensure my baby's health, but on the same time, I can also maintain my good health ?? Good thing I bumped into this product, which I consider as a big companion during my pregnancy. . 


If you saw me on the first week of my pregnancy, you would probably share the same thought as my hubby's. . hehe. . I was soo petite that you would doubt if I could bear the pregnancy. . But, with the help and guidance of my oby, and having the right maternal milk, my body turned into a woman who can bear the 9 months of pregnancy. . =)

I admit, before getting pregnant, I wasn't a milk drinker !! =D I was more a coffee drinker !! But for some reason, coffee became one of the most hated drink in my list during my pregnancy. . Aaawwwwkkkk !! That u would always heard whenever I would try to drink coffee. . 

My oby suggested that I should drink ANMUM. . I was like, "milk ?? =D". . . eeeuuuuuuu !! But she said that I could try drinking the chocolate flavor. . Oh, chocolate !! Sweet !! So, I did tried !! =) And my taste buds did like it !! Oh no, labet !! hehe. . 

It really became a bigggg help !! I started gaining weight, I feel more energetic, and healthier !! =) 

So, to all soon to be mom out there, or to those who are planning to be a mother, I recommend you to drink ANMUM !! =) It will work on your body, sweetly !! =) 

Hubby's tattoo. . .

When I first met him, he didn't had any tattoo !! Before he came here to see and visits me, he told me he would be getting some tats in the memory of his mom. . Normally, I don't really give a second look on guys with tattoos. . But after meeting my husband and knowing the story behind his tats, it had changed my mind !! I truly understand now that not all guys with tattoos are getting ink just for the sake of looking a toughie !! Oh well, I know my hubby isn't one of them !! His tattoos tells a story !! 


After awhile, he got a brown butterfly !! He said, it represent me and my story about the brown butterfly !! I soo find it sweet !! =) I was soo proud to be included in the story that he put on his arm through an ink !!


But--- just when I thought I'll be just a part of the story as a brown butterfly--- my hubby continued his sleeve tattoo---- and got new ones---- which include a name---- and that is my name !! =) 


OMG !! I really didn't expect that at first !! Normally, guys will get a name plate tattoo of their child/children, but not a girl's name !! It's a rare thing that guys will get an ink of their girl's name !! And my hubby did !!! =") awwwww !! <3 I felt soo overwhelmed, emotional, giddy giddy, touched and all that feeling when I saw the finish product !! It was, WOW !! Even my sisters started and my friends started telling their bf's and their husbands to get a tattoo like me husband's tats !! hehe. . 

Seeing my name in his arm makes me love and trust him more and more !! I see that ink as his way of saying, "hey, I'm taken by JOYCE !!" lol. . In this world where every man is single when their wife isn't around, it was an overwhelming feeling that my hubby wanted to tell the world that he got his wife--- and that's me--- J-O-Y-C-E !! He really has his way on telling me, in spite and despite the distance, a huge distance that we have, that he's mine---- ALL MINE !! You know, because of my husband, I finally knew the right and deep comprehension of the word---- TRUST !! Before, because of my past, I found it hard to trust !! My principle before was, "I only trust God and myself. ." Many people just hurt me !! Many took advantage of my trust !! So, I've learned to built a wall. . . But with my hubby, he doesn't need to say a thing, he always prove everything with actions !! =) Like I always said, my hubby is a man of few words !! But he never was short in expressing how much he loves me !! =) Every word that he utter, I believe him--- 200% and wholeheartedly !! He always think about my happiness, that sometimes I wonder what I did good to deserve someone like him !! 

His tattoo is like a declaration in the world that there is only one woman for him--- and that is a woman who's waiting for him in the island of the Philippines-- and that is me !! Lucky, aren't I ?? =) 

Our little angel and the Jollibee spaghetti !! =P

Pregnant women have their usual cravings !! Especially in the first quarter of our pregnancy, rightie ?? hehe. . 


My cravings changes from time to time, but one thing that never change is my craving for----- *drumrolling*----- JOLLIBEE SPAGHETTI !! hehe. . It's quiet unusual for me !! Oh of course, I love spaghetti, but before, if we would be inside this food chain, you would see me ordering for Jollibee chicken joy !! (spicy chicken joy, mind you !! =P) lol. . But ever since I got pregnant, I started having this craving for Hetty's product !! lol. . 

I remembered, the first time I had this craving was when where in Pagudpud !! haha. . All of a sudden, I woke up and announced to my husband (fiancee then) that I want to eat spaghetti !! He said, "okay, let's order later !!". . . But I pouted and nodded, "no, you don't understand. . I want Jolly spaghetti. " haha. . We asked the people around the hotel-resort where we were, only to found out that the nearest Jollibe store is 4 hours away !! =)) So, me and Arno still ordered spaghetti on the hotel's resto, but tsk, I didn't liked how it tasted !! So, the very first few hours that we're back on Manila, I ordered for Jolly Spaghetti !! My hubby thought Jolly spaghetti is---- WEIRD !! haha. Instead of meatballs, they put hotdogs !! haha. . But during that time, Jolly spaghetti was the best spaghetti in the whole world for me !! 

Now, it has been a running joke for us that our little boy might look like Hetty spaghetti !! =)) You know, with twirl hair !! lol. . We said, it wouldn't surprised us anymore !! haha. . And I also think that Jollibee earned lots of money from us, by my jolly cravings !! haha. 

Hottest thing on EARTH !!

He's no George Clooney, or Brad Pitt, but what the heck ?? haha. . . I don't even consider the former or the latter as hot in my list !! =P 


My husband is the hottest thing on earth !! Rawr !! Physically, excuse me, who can resist such handsome face with his soo blue eyes ?? hehe. . Many times whenever were together, lots of girls twist their head to caught his attention, and some even can't help but to literally twirl their hair !! lol. . Which made me feel like I was wearing an invisible crown. . hehe. . 

But you know--- what makes him even more hotter is that, just like some of my friends said, his a "rare breed". . A very good man !! Often times, people keep on saying that it's soo hard to find a good man nowadays. . . I couldn't agree much !! It took me a long time before I found my husband !! But the moment I found him--- I can consider myself now as--- LUCKY !! 

He's hotter when he is looking at me with soo much love and passion that I've never saw before !! Whenever he would tell me that I'm the only woman he loves, I couldn't help but looking up in the sky and thank God for giving me such a very wonderful man !! 

Distance now is giving us some hard time !! I'm missing him sooo much, and vice versa !! But even if miles away, he is still the only one who could give me tingle and who could make me feel excited just by seeing his face !! 

In his arms is where I belong, and is where I want to be !! =) It may took as quiet some time before we could hold each other, but come to think of it, the waiting is worth it knowing that you're waiting for someone who is worth the wait !! =)
